@GregMolnar I’ve had multiple Linux laptops and they all do this. Yes, it can happen on MacBooks too, but it’s not common. Somebody said it already, but, Linux doesn’t sleep well. If Framework doesn’t mention this when you inquire for support then they aren’t being honest.

A word of advice... I love my Framework and not sure if it is their fault, but I had a pretty scary situation when I left Amsterdam. I had a call with the family and just closed my laptop, put it in the bag, then left for the airport. After I got through security I sat down to prep some stuff for the flight and my laptop was running as crazy for some reason(maybe my yubikey woke it up?). I thought it is completely cooked, but after cooling down it works as usual. The lesson of the story is to shut down your laptop before you put it in your bag!

So much complexity can be avoided if you simply lean into your database’s advanced features. Most software engineers don’t appreciate or understand this and will opt for complexity instead.
