@TalksRugby See in subbies the front row is full of old flankers who got slow but couldn't give the game away

@rainbowthirsty @joshgiesbrecht yeah, well I'm using a pleb language (Python) where I can't just drop a print() call in my comprehensions. I forget how Haskell comprehensions work, I guess performUnsafeIO can syntactically be put in the right spot there
English

@rainbowthirsty @joshgiesbrecht absolutely right, but damn if it ain't annoying when you have a list comprehension and have to rewrite as a for loop to drop a print statement in there somewhere

@whassaname @tomwarren I'm sure google will sell you a Pixel cloth :)
English

@tomwarren Looks like it's only compatible with Apple devices. I need a cloth that can polish my Macbook *and* my Pixel 5 🙁

To those in the Shute Shield scene, there is some extremely sad news to share regarding a man who epitomised the best of rugby culture.
He continued to pull on the jersey into his 70s whenever 4th grade were short.
Then he'd run the water... (cont)

Well, this truly sucks :( #comments" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">smh.com.au/sydney-news/sy… SkyZone was great for kids (and adults!)

@jdub ahhh *int* max, not *uint* max... is this from the yodaiken paper?
English

@bennoleslie It follows from “knowing that INT_MAX+1 is undefined allows optimizing X+1 > X to ‘true’”.

@mikal thanks! I'll need to look in detail, but I think NVMe on Nitro might be TCP under neath, but that is abstracted from Linux so, it just looks like NVMe/PCI to the kernel (could be wrong though)
English

@mikal Is there a spec somewhere? The thing that bugs me about EBS nitro is that there is nothing explaining the storage guarantees (like, what I/O size will give me atomic writes).
