I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If republicans in the senate fail to pass the SAVE America Act, Democrats will take control.

Tim Pugh of Pugh's Flowers says his business needed the Memphis Safe Task Force. He says crime "feels like it's down 100%." #TrumpinMemphis

@RepJohnRose @WhiteHouse @HouseGOP You and other Tennessee Republicans had decades to do something about Memphis. What were you thinking?

Trump is not welcome in Memphis. Join us in solidarity at the No Trump Rally. We will lift our voices and send a message to Trump, the state, and local leaders who were complicit in allowing the Unsafe Task Force to terrorize our communities for the past six months.

Trump is not welcome to Memphis, Mane! And he can take his unsafe task force with him when he leaves. We want poverty eradication and real investment in Memphis, not military occupation.

Let me say this, Donald Trump isn’t wanted in Shelby County.

If Republicans want to waste time on pushing a voter suppression bill, Democrats are ready. We will hold the line. @SenateDems will debate the SAVE Act for as long as Republicans want and show the American people how radical this bill is.

Trump is doing what he does best. He is creating a fake narrative in Memphis to distract from the reality of his multi-billion dollar war overseas, skyrocketing gas prices, and the Epstein files. Our city is not Trump’s vanity project, mane.

Not a single Senate Democrat will support the SAVE Act. Not this week. Not next week. Not ever. We will oppose it on the floor as long as it takes.

Senate Democrats will NOT allow the SAVE Act to pass through the Senate, no matter how long it takes. That’s because the SAVE Act: 1. Purges millions of Americans from voter rolls 2. Kills online, mail, and motor voter registration. 3. Rejects commons IDs to register to vote. 4. Forces Americans to register in person. 5. Penalizes married women who changed their last names.
