@BrentTaylorTN easily wins Shelby County in the Republican primary for district 9 because the voters haven't forgotten what he did. I can remember when you couldn't go anywhere in Shelby County without fearing your car might be broken into, and Brent changed that with 'Make Memphis Matter'.

Congressman Steve Cohen is done being a congressman. Thank you to State Representative Kevin Vaughan and State Senator Brent Taylor for making that happen. Under Cohen's leadership, Memphis has become poorer, more dangerous and lost more residents than any other congressional district in the United States. The entire region will benefit from him not being a congressional candidate.

Veteran Service Organizations are the backbone of so many communities across Shelby County and West Tennessee. These organizations are where veterans find camaraderie, support, advocacy, mentorship, and purpose long after the uniform comes off. If we want strong communities, we need strong VSOs. That’s why I encourage everyone to support the upcoming 80th Anniversary Gala for VFW Post 7175 - Millington, TN on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Medal of Honor Ballroom in Millington. This event is more than just a celebration — it’s an investment into the future of veterans in our community. 🇺🇸 80 Years of Service 🇺🇸 Live Music 🇺🇸 Documentary Presentation 🇺🇸 Live Auction 🇺🇸 Community Celebration Doors open at 5:30 PM Dinner at 6:00 PM Program begins at 7:00 PM One thing I’ll say directly: every political candidate in Shelby County should be at this event. No matter your party, if you want to lead this community, you should show up for the veterans organizations that have been serving this county for generations. Veterans have stood for this country in war and peace — and our local leaders should stand with them. Support local veterans. Support local VFWs. Support the people still serving their communities decades after military service ended. Tickets available here: zeffy.com/en-US/ticketin…

Thank you to everyone who attended the recent @MontyFritts4TN events in Shelby County. The strong turnout showed that people care deeply about the future of Tennessee, the direction of the Shelby GOP, local county races, and the new congressional districts impacting Shelby County. The momentum is building, and the conversation is just getting started. 🗳️ Early Voting: July 17 – August 1 🇺🇸 Election Day: August 6 The future of Tennessee will be decided by the people who show up.

Arlington Mayor Mike Wissman — yes, the alleged “Chubbies shorts” case — is scheduled to have his first court date on May 27 stemming from a misdemeanor shoplifting citation connected to an incident at Wolfchase Galleria, according to multiple Memphis media reports. Wissman has called the situation an “unfortunate misunderstanding.” In Shelby County politics, apparently even the shorts are making headlines this year. 👀🩳 “Court is now in session… and so is summer fashion season.”

Remember this prediction now: @MontyFritts4TN is going to win over the young voters in Tennessee. He’s one of the only candidates for Governor openly talking about affordability, the impact of legal and illegal immigration, and the issues many young people believe are hurting their future opportunities and quality of life. The establishment may not see it yet—but the energy, turnout, and grassroots support at his events tell a different story. Young voters are paying attention to candidates who feel authentic, accessible, and willing to challenge the political status quo.

.@RepMarkWhiteTN has been a tremendous advocate for education and for Tennessee’s next generation. We owe it to them to make certain every student has access to a world-class education, and I look forward to continuing that work alongside him as Governor. Thank you for all you do, Chairman White!
TN House Republicans@tnhousegop

Op-ed by @RepMarkWhiteTN in The Tennessean: The teachers’ union wants to paint Tennessee as ‘last in spending.’ Reality: We raised per-pupil funding +52%, teacher salaries +68%, and now outperform $ 30k-per-student DC & NY in the Nation’s Report Card. Republican leadership delivers.

The establishment media keeps trying to dismiss @MontyFritts4TN for Governor as if he’s not a serious Republican candidate for Governor of Tennessee… but the people showing up to his events are telling a very different story. Every event I’ve attended where Monty Fritts was the speaker, the room was packed. Not because of media hype. Not because of political insiders. Because grassroots Tennesseans are hungry for bold leadership, conservative values, and someone willing to fight for them. The political establishment may not want to admit it yet, but the energy behind Monty Fritts is real — and growing across Tennessee.

I get it, everyone wants to take credit for the Memphis Safe Task Force and the huge drop in crime. But before all that, in 2022, @BrentTaylorTN ran a state senate campaign focused on fixing our crime problem in Shelby County. Since 2022, Brent hasn't avoided any person or government agency responsible for the crime problem in Shelby County. In fact he has regularly traveled to places outside District 31 to use his position to make the entire region better for everyone—not just residents of Shelby County. Brent did what many considered impossible, and it all culminated with President Donald Trump deploying the Memphis Safe Task Force. Then, outside of what many deemed a miracle of finally addressing the crime problem here, Sen. Taylor addressed his constituents' issues and has been under constant attack from far-left groups. If Brent Taylor can tackle the biggest problem area in the state of Tennessee, I'd say he stands a great chance of being a great congressman for Congressional District 9. No one is guaranteed any race, but some of you should be just a little grateful for what Sen. Taylor has done here.

Great article from TriStar Daily highlighting the realities of the District 9 congressional race. I haven’t looked at the odds on Polymarket, but I would say the odds are in favor of @BrentTaylorTN being your next congressman for the 9th. go.shr.lc/49HtHzr

Tennessee needs a candidate who actually understands the people outside the political bubble. @ShawnRyanShow should bring on @MontyFritts4TN — Iraq War veteran, constitutional conservative, and a guy willing to talk about the issues Tennesseans actually care about. No scripted answers. No establishment talking points. Just a real conversation.
