I've always found small learning groups incredibly rewarding and would like to help create a few more based on what I've learned. If you would like to be matched into a group of senior technology leaders that will meet twice a month please fill this link forms.gle/LLp75mrRtzVVwR…

@Randy_Au I want the university COVID dashboard to include a forecast for the next month. What the models show. That would be more usable information

What is the difference between an engineering manager and a data science manager? It's a question I find myself ruminating over almost constantly. There's tons of good thinking and writing about eng management out there, but I don't find that it always translates to the DS world.

@katydecorah @s_m_i Yes, I love podcasts for running. I’ve always found it more distracting than music when running. People have different preferences on this, experimenting what what works for you is key.

@Jgoodhand @s_m_i Same for me. I stopped tracking speed and distance and have enjoyed that. I always run for X minutes out (using X because one’s number doesn’t matter) and then turn around and run back. Wherever I end up is fine.

@s_m_i When I stopped tracking all the data around my run it became a different thing all together. Stopping often to see the city or the trees, trying often to take a random path you’ve never taken before. Framing as “moving meditation” versus “training” can be powerful.
