@danitreweek This is pretty random but came from my brother in the theatre space, but put a wet tea towel in the freezer and then once frozen gladwrap around your throat area. I went to an ENT recently though for this issue, breathing when speaking so it’s coming from diaphram not throat.

Preachers/teachers - advice needed. I have a lingering itch in the back of my throat (leftover from a recent virus), which worsens when I talk & results in shallow coughing & weakened voice. I have a heavy speaking load coming up & need tips on how to protect my voice.

@danitreweek The damage is done on phones, in apps, via message. History tells us that too. It’s not that we don’t operate with wisdom (we have a similar set-up to the one you described in your old office). But you could easily not meet with someone 1-1, and be messaging them privately.

Changing your mind is rare. And it almost never happens in the middle of a conversation. That's not to say we should abandon persuasion, it's just to be clear on how it happens. It happens /after/ — sometimes *long* after — confrontation with an opposing view or lifestyle.
