Let me ask my American friends for a moment. When Danes react with fear and genuinely believe that Trump is going to start a war with Denmark because he wants to “steal” Greenland, it honestly seems ridiculous to me. From where I’m standing, this looks like a narrative whipped up by the media and reinforced by our government. But feel free to enlighten me….what do you actually hear, see, and think over there?

@Hermosagirl10 @CrazyVibes_1 Deffently not. Even if you just have a mild infection it can have long lasting effects. I got pneumonia, and ended up in a hospital bed, for 4 weeks. At some point the doctors told my parents thath less then 10% to survive

@CrazyVibes_1 I had measles in high school. 105degree temp, hallucinations, out of school 3 months. Even for a few months after that, I was weak and tired. Couldn't cheer, or play sports that whole spring. It is nothing to mess with.

@jdrieder57 @CrazyVibes_1 I was a child in the 70' so vaccines weren't available. I got measles, was hospitalised, and I was very very sick with pneumonia. The infection didn't respond well to any type of antibiotics. They said later on that at one point, at its worst, I had a 10 % chance of surviving.

@lowcortisol She was interviewed, I think by Jimmy Kimmel recently. She said that she hadn't had any surgeries, just fillers and Botox. She had stopped with fillers but still used Botox. I believe her. However she certainly looks like she has a eating disorder.

Det er en meget meget trist situation som pågår i usa lige nu. Pga stigende mad priser, har jeg siden i sommer, arbejdet som frivillig, med at indsamle, sorterer og udleverer madvare. Men nu hvor udbetaling af snap er stoppet, er det beyond kritisk. Rigtig mange privat personer.

Der er bare så mange som har brug for hjælp at hvis det fortsætter i det omfang løber vi tør for de mest nødvendige vare inden for de næste par dage. Det føles som at bo i et uland og stå og uddele nødhjælp.

Rigtig mange privat personer er kommet med varevogne fyldt med mad og hygiejne produkter, bleer osv. Det er også lykkedes at få virksomheder til at donere, og vi arbejder på at få flere af dem involveret

I København sidder mange ældre stadig i billige lejligheder fra før 1992, hvor huslejen er kunstigt lav på grund af lejeregulering. De har boet der i årtier og bliver siddende, fordi de aldrig vil kunne finde noget tilsvarende til samme pris. Det betyder, at unge og tilflyttere må betale prisen. De få boliger, der udlejes på markedsvilkår, bliver ekstremt dyre, mens tusindvis af billige lejligheder er låst fast hos den ældre generation.
