@Subimaginati @PastoralKaty @Mr_Chas Strong and positive relationships with clear and high expectations… this is something we should strive for throughout society. Adult and children alike. I was taught how to behave (positively) I didn’t come into the world knowing it. I do not believe in punitive punishment.

@berneyanna @PastoralKaty @Mr_Chas Except, adults love to ignore that children have little say over many of the things they are punished for. Whether it's a parent didn't buy or wash the item they need, or kept them off school to care for a sick sibling, punishing the kid isn't going to change that.
