@ElJefeDSecurIT @MalwareJake @Terence_Hughes Right sizing infosec is difficult... and getting it wrong is expensive. As an industry, we have done a poor job of assisting companies with adequate coverage, so companies are getting reluctant.

@ElJefeDSecurIT @MalwareJake @Terence_Hughes I would say a lack of clarity for what level of cybersecurity coverage is needed at various tiers of various industries. Not everyone needs a full SOC or a forensics/threat intel/hunting team. A lot just need enough to cover their compliance needs.

I know several orgs where cybersecurity recruiters are being disproportionately impacted by layoffs. That's a clear sign to me me that those orgs aren't just realigning to new needs, they're outright downsizing.

not sure if it's my depression or imposter syndrome, but it's so weird meeting people at conferences who have seen you post online and think you are smart, successful, and have it all together when you know that couldn't be further from the truth.

@johnnystantoniv Terry Black's is better than Franklin's (imo) and easier to get into. Austin Floppy Disk Repair company is a personal favorite for bars, if you can figure out the code.
