The children who attend this school live in Mathare Slums. Living in poverty these children suffer daily. The school provides for them when emergency issues occur, if the funds are available. Thank you for considering donating.

Each day the kitchen provides the children with porridge and a hot lunch usually prepared in one pot over a fire. Pretty amazing how much can be done with so little. Please consider donating. A small amount goes a long way.

@teach_health_pe @cpkressbach @westerbergt I wonder what the late or missing work is? The consequence is the work piled up, skills are weaker, and unable to keep moving forward. I also think we underestimate the amount of teaching and conversations it takes to get students to the ah ha moment.

If we want grades that accurately reflect performance of course academic standards we have to stop awarding/deducting points for work unrelated to identified course academic standards (extra points for a "cute" poster, points off for not putting your name on the paper).
