A lot of the stuff on my wishlist is home decor and though it seems trivial this photo is why. This is the space we are meant to call home. I don't understand why shelters can’t at least jazz things up a little to make it feel more human and less depressing. Which is why on my wishlist one might think, “decor? That’s dumb.” But I’m a huge believer than any space you live in should feel like a reflection of you, and bring life. Shelters look past this time and time again. As someone who has literally no skin in this particular game - you could tell from the first teaser this wasn’t going to be a good movie. An entertaining one maybe.
