@runliftrunlift @Alan_Couzens I also ran 2:47 at Tokyo marathon (did we run together?). And my run today was almost as slow… and no, I’m not tired, I just love easy runs 💕. Also I ran 2:37 in December. And at least 85% of my running is probably 5min/kms.

Apparently I’ve been checking this app for 1/3 of my life.. #MyTwitterAnniversary . Who has been here longer than me?

English

@RBrennanMorrey @HoustonMarathon Huge congrats Ruth!!!!!!!

Todays #Houstonmarathon lesson for my soccer kids: Don’t dabble or doubt. Believe w/everything & go ALL IN to a process that brings you joy. When you fall short, you still walk away happy. A 2:44 & masters champ but no #OTQ. Still, it’s the process is what leaves me fulfilled.

@jordanblancoSF Can you, of all people, handle this typo?! 🤣
English

@JWLevitt I ran CIM then flew back to Australia the next day, so I feel this tweet in my bones! 2 kids make the 10am part a pipe dream, though.

Gotten out of bed after 10am the last two days… is it jet lag or it it post marathon? #aspecialcollab

@kellydomara It’s terrible! At least for sponsors/exhibitors (or should I say small tri business owners who are also parents who can’t just leave their kids and blow their yearly budgets in aug/sept/oct to attend the world champs events 🤣).
English

What if this isn't terrible.

The men's @IRONMANtri world champs is moving Nice, France for 2023, while the women will compete in Kona. In 2024, men will compete in Kona and women in Nice. This is for both pro and age-group. Explain how you feel with a gif.

@legroff October? Just wait till it’s a ‘loooong December and there’s reason to believe…’
English

@fast_women This happens frequently in triathlon with race officials around the course! And responsibility usually placed back on the athlete to *know the course* 🤯
English

@TheTonyaRussell Then yes, do it! Definitely not for a full.
English

@PamGoodley @MilePosts Hi Pam! I am… and yes I did- very excited 😊.
English

@ChrisRancie @MilePosts Gotcha. But yes, I absolutely think Chelsea could do that if she trained for it.
English

@bethgmckenzie @MilePosts We're both talking about the world aths/ioc time of 2.28 not the american qualifying trials time, which she could run regularly in training if she chose? Good running btw 👍
English

@bethgmckenzie @MilePosts I was trying to think who else fits this category! What other sub 3 IM have also run a fast marathon?
English

@ChrisRancie @MilePosts Chelsea would easily make the Olympic standard. I’ve run several sub 3 marathons off the bike in Ironman (& never in Kona! Best 3:04 there) and i ran pretty close to the Olympic standard this year (2:38) at 42 years old. Not to bring it back to me 😂, but relevant comparison.
English

@MilePosts What marathon time do you think it compares to? In saying that it's just not a fair comparison the sports are so different, if she trained solely for a marathon I'd find it hard to believe she doesn't run the Olympic marathon qualifying standard
