No way is this a great roster, but they beat every top team this season.They just cant get over the hump against the sludge, and its not because the team is less talented. All I know is Schaefer was not happy about Roy being fired .. his family also not thrilled 🤷🏽‍♂️ could be a nothing burger come next March if this team goes to another level OR it could be a huge issue if they take a step back / risky getting rid of your franchise players coach who took the handcuffs off early in season and was proven right by the 18 year old. @Terrill1012 @incarceratedbob If you watch the games the effort is absolutely a problem. Watch the 3rd period of the Blackhawks game, I never saw the team skate like that. They were desperate. They have not even come close to that urgency since. How is that possible? Is it on the players? Sure.

@islesblogger Its a rough call. They overachieved for the season but also were exposed by the same flaws over and over. You could make a case either way, and I think each could be correct. Time will tell!
