@sharrond62 I had a Dalmatian - lost one eye to glaucoma and 10 months later the second eye to Sudden Retinal Dysfunction. Both were removed as they became ulcerated. She managed well, and died of old age. She had a 'map' of the house in her head, but we had to be careful not to move things.

Anyone had/has a dog with genetic glaucoma? We’ve done all we can with human drops&medical intervention but pretty sure sight in both eyes now gone. I’m looking to remove them as painful 4 him I fear but wonder how others have coped? He’s full of life & a confident dog otherwise
