A.Mallama & J.Respler show in their @arxiv paper that @SpaceX reduced the apparent brightness of #Starlink satellites from 4.7 (Original) to 6.2 (#VisorSat). When #lasercommunication was added in v1.5, it increased a bit to 5.5 (PostVisorSat) arxiv.org/abs/2210.17268 1/n @elonmusk

@SciGuySpace Seeing all this great space projects all over the world, 2021 will be an awesome space year. Personally I'm looking forward to JWST launch. I worked on this once in lifetime mission as a supplier, so I'm very excited to see this mission go life in orbit
