The act of worship is said to have involved 7yr old children at a Lincolnshire school with parents revealing that pupils were encouraged to kneel and bow their heads in the Muslim prayer style.

ENGLISH SCHOOL CLOSING FOR EID
Miriam Lord Primary School in Bradford has announced it will close for Eid celebrations on 19 March 2026.
Parents were informed the school will shut for tow days this week.

@GLH67 @madeiracakez @YusufHoque @KieraDiss I’m a headteacher. Standard school holidays have barely changed since 1947. Some schools close for a variety of faith based days.

They close for Easter & Christmas because we are a Christian country but they are slowly getting rid of the “Christian” reasons for closing at these times. They do not nothing close for others other religious holidays.

They're also calling them gesture eggs. The eggs are a Christian symbol of Easter. So as someone pointed out? Why are they profiting from appropriating a Christian holiday without acknowledging it is Christian. I've stopped buying it anyway because it is now pure muck and a rip off. Cheaper ingredients, palm oil, higher prices it’s not the same chocolate anymore.
