A few things: 1) This is not fair to Casey Schmitt who is finally coming into his own at the plate & now has to worry about playing a new position every night & 2) will the veterans be OK with time off? I’m more upset with how we got here than what we’re doing now that we’re here

@TomeiTyler College football was never broken, but the transfer portal has sent it off the rails. Going from 2 windows to 1 will help. Next step should be limiting # of transfers. IMO this is a bigger issue than NIL.

I think three things are true
1. NIL culture has erased the bonding and pride of representing a school. Don’t think it’s a good societal thing the way it’s altering behaviors.
2. Kids 100% should be paid.
3. SEC schools aren’t “schools” in the way other places are and the one advantage they had (paying athletes) is now gone and they are panicking.
