@Kenmo03956380 Hi Kenmo, we have your emails from the 16th & 17th of November, & we replied on the 18th requesting proof of purchase, then chased on the 15th of December, but haven't received any response email since then, could you please re-send so we can proceed with your claim? thank you

@BGElectrical Yes I responded on 15/12/2022, 11/12/2022, 25/11/2022, 18/11/2022, 17/11/2022, 16/11/2022 and 2 contact form submissions. I did not think it would be so difficult to obtain a replacement for a such an inexpensive product that is still under manufacturer's guarantee.

@BGElectrical Please replace my faulty Smart Power Adaptor. I've phoned and sent pictures and fault description to your technical department and yet you refuse to replace it. I expected better customer service from a company who say they guarantee their products for 25 years.

@ManAndDog64 Due to message limitations that wasn't an exhaustive list, just an couple of examples ... as for the Wi-Fi socket, they do need a decent signal (50% or stronger) to work with, otherwise they _can_ lose connection

@BGElectrical No such events happened, so it must be that the BG external socket is rubbish as that’s 2 I’ve had & both failed.

@BGElectrical don’t laugh but one of your technical support guys told me in a email that the weather can affect the WiFi connection on an external socket 😳. Even though the socket had worked perfectly for 6 weeks in all weathers.

@BGElectrical I have already contacted technical support six times now. Three times to technical.support@luceco.com and three times to technical.support@bgelectrical.co.uk. I have supplied pictures and a detailed description of the fault but have had no response since my last email of 25th Nov

@Kenmo03956380 @786_Electricals Hi Kenmo, the 25 year guarantee is for basic metal faced wiring devices, the BG Smart Home devices don't fall in this category so have a specific 3 year warranty of their own

@786_Electricals @BGElectrical @BGElectrical Would be a fantastic piece of kit if it worked! My smart power adapter doesn't and @BGElectrical refuse to honour their 25 year guarantee to replace it.

Big thank you to @BGElectrical for sending us a smart power adapter, it will give you app control via your mobile device, voice control and on off switch capabilities with time scheduling. What a fantastic piece of kit. 🔌

Quality @MasterplugUS (or Masterplug is @BGElectrical in the UK) product -- wasn't harshly treated, but plastic/design not up to the job. That's a brand I'll avoid in future

@BGElectrical Hi, I have a smart socket which has disconnected from the app. But I cannot get the socket to enter pairing mode. I've tried holding both buttons for 5+ seconds. How do I factory reset?

@fuzzweed @Lucecogroup Does the USB lamp work when nothing else is plugged in? Please email technical.support@luceco.com with some further details: Product SKU Batch Date Details of the products being plugged in.

@fuzzweed @Lucecogroup The other thing to consider is that the other product being used in the USB socket will require a minimum 100ma to be detected by the socket. USB LED reading lamps are very low power, it may be that this is not being recognised.

@BGElectrical Won't charge A and C together, so not suitable for high power devices. Not smart. Tech support blamed Apple, so not universal. No mention of shared power requirements. Not contractor opportunity; had to waste my time explaining to customer how bad a design this is.
