Dawn Staley said, "If you play well, you get extended minutes. If you don’t, that has to go to somebody else." Successful people don't expect opportunities to just be handed to them. They prove they deserve them. They know: YOU GET WHAT YOU EARN.

"Hard things usually suck and then you've got to get to the other side. You can be like, "Oh, we got this long practice." If that's your mentality, then are you competitive? You should want to because you get to." Average players complete practice. Great players compete in it.

@joannachadwick @VypeKS I think for most teams and in most games it will be a non-factor. It will change some team’s late game strategy but coaches will adjust.

Thoughts on the shot clock? I heard it go off one time in two games last night.

There is absolutely nothing I would rather be doing than coaching these guys. They have worked their tails off. It’s going to be a fun year.
