I am showing how you can build Redis from scratch and nobody cares 😅 I will start posting commentaries and rants. Wahi dega views. This is my worst, absolute worst, performing series.

Travelling between Mumbai and Pune using the missing link? Be careful on the bridge, stupid people taking up almost 2 full lanes clicking photos of themselves and their cars and merging like maniacs.

@penaazvalecha I want to write more, I've stopped using AI to "polish" what I'm saying. But now the problem is I don't even know what do I write about ┐( ∵ )┌

Did you genuinely like to decipher figuring out how to use libraries with little to no documentation and spending literal weeks on things that now take hours? If you wanted to learn a new stack it was a literal commitment but now just be asking the right questions and playing with the code you inhale tacit knowledge much faster than before. These automation tools have made coding far more enjoyable than before. Maybe you’re not building things that are big enough.

Programming was deeply satisfying work to me. Work for hours/days before getting the payoff of the code working well on your machine. I’m feeling so much friction now to open the editor and do this kind of task by hand, but also increasingly depressed with the nature of work in an AI assisted dev workflow. Back and forth prompting seems to eat at my soul. Need to find a balance that brings back some of the toil.

@shivambhadani_ I think most people can do DSA if they practice, but when it gets to language/framework niche questions, there's a high chance you don't know about it. Or if they ask you to find out problems in a given code.

I've covered a lot of topics in my blogs, but most of them are outside the scope of interviews. I was thinking of covering interview-related specific topics. Comment on topics you're finding difficult and want me to cover. Will prioritize the ones that get the most suggestions.

@penaazvalecha I remember you because you e-mailed for something related to build space. I couldn't attend but started following you since. I enjoy reading your tweets! I'll also buy premium one day and write a long post lol

what’s the point of paying for premium if I never post a long tweet. about time I re-introduce myself here! hi, I’m Penaaz ✨ academically, I come from a writing and marketing background. professionally, I’ve been writing and marketing for over 7 years. but what I genuinely enjoy… also, writing and marketing ;) well, enough of that. something I have loved all my life (other than the English language), is the camera. I cherish being on camera, behind it, and just filming and photographing people and things I admire. (talking about phone photography before I get attacked) I accidentally became a freelancer (less-glorified and more-burdened business owner) right after college and never really looked back. don’t get me wrong, I did work at places but it was never a conventional full-time job. (side note: not opposed to it if it’s a good fit) it was either an early-stage tech startup’s founding marketer (where you essentially work 24x7), at an ed-tech company (Avalon Meta and Avalon Labs), services agencies (a few of them), or with clients in the B2B SaaS or e-commerce space. I am good (and experienced) with: - website positioning and messaging (writing) - long-form content - UX writing aka content design - content strategy for socials - ghostwriting for personal brands (mainly Founders) and, in (relatively) recent development: - hosting events - speaking on stage at the moment, I’m a full-time freelancer working across verticals within content. (btw, I talked about storytelling and used it in my writing long before it became a buzzword. no big deal, it’s just another thing like the em dash that lost its charm for no fault of ours) I absolutely love watching movies and incredible shows (and reviewing them at times). having worked remotely for the most part, I started attending offline events over weekends. well, at least the good ones ;) doing this long enough gave me exposure to new people, ideas, and things that make events great and questionable. I eventually used that intel to host my own event(s), and had a pretty good time putting them together. To be fair, buildspace had a huge hand in this too. I also ended up joining the really cool team at @fof_mumbai as the Partnerships Head 🤍 you should consider following along if any of this sounds interesting! and if you’ve known me before this post, what’s something you associate me with/ remember me for? @itshmohan @arpit_bhayani @neembu_paani31 He probably means to say that explore all videos on surface level first, and then go deeper. I personally prefer going deeper right away because that's how I learn better (DFS).

@arpit_bhayani @neembu_paani31 @arpit_bhayani I didn't get it what did you mean by this " BFS is the best approach while going through my videos. " How to apply BFS to your videos, may be it's a naive question to ask?

When you hover over the video timeline in Netflix or YouTube, you see video frame previews . How are these preview images generated and delivered to the client ? Do you think backend requests are made ?

Everyone tells you to dig deeper, and It's great that you want to. But there's no point digging into places that no one cares about. Every time you go one level deeper or explore an adjacent topic, ask yourself: - Is this worth my time? - What will I gain by understanding this? If you don't have a clear, convincing answer, skip it. There's no point in spending time and energy on something you cannot convince yourself of. Do something because it matters to you, and not because some random handle on the internet told you to.
