The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion. He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S. He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.

Unbelievable. This girl has been banned from the University of Guelph campus FOR LIFE due to being in the vicinity of her family members conversation with a group of people. The Campus Safety Office felt that what they were talking about was sufficient enough to ban her & her family member from being anywhere on University of Guelph property forever. The media is being disingenuous with Canadians. This time pretending that Mark Carney earned his majority government tonight at the ballot box. The truth is, these were already Liberal seats – two of them among the safest in the country (the previous Liberal MPs recently resigned). Mark Carney’s real majority was obtained through backroom deals and floor crossings over the past 6 months. The first time in more than 150 years of Canadian history that a Prime Minister has sought the almost unlimited power of a majority government not through a mandate from voters, but through their very deception and deceit. Counting on the individual weakness and duplicity of a handful of MPs to overturn the result of a democratic election and concentrate power that the Prime Minister may covet, but does not deserve. The Liberals may consider this strategy to have been a success, but as the shine of their government, and Mark Carney, inevitably wears off, and the electorate realizes they are left with a different leader, but the same policies, as Justin Trudeau, voters may well resent the fact that in many ridings their vote will feel stolen, their voice silenced, and the verdict of Canada’s democracy, rejected and ignored.

The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.
