I'm shocked this has happened. They were one of the OG crypto exchanges that pioneered 100x perps.
On the other hand, I’ve seen nothing about them in years. No marketing campaigns, no discussions, and no one even talking about using the exchange.

yes, I'm technically an eth maxi moving into the solana eco...
so, why?
for the last few years, my stance has softened as solana has matured and worked out a lot of the initial growing pains (remember when it halted a bunch? lol).
the scalability trilemma is simply a tradeoff between security, scalability, and decentralization. when it comes to the (now) infinite landscape of blockchains, there's a massive chunk of them that copy the EVM or some of the weird architecture quirks ethereum has in the interest of user acquisition. solana did not take this path.
i've always respected @toly and the rest of the solana eco for this. they've chosen to build a different approach to that scalability trilemma, and they do it with integrity. time will tell what the "perfect" blockchain approach to it is, but we don't get to an answer by copy pasting the same system.
