We do have legal counsel, but the process is slow because the system itself moves slow. We’re working through the 504 and compliance side, but beyond that we simply don’t have the time or resources to pursue a full legal war on multiple fronts. I know it’s a long shot, but at this point it’s still a shot. I’ve tried every path available for years. I’m just trying to protect my kids and get help wherever I can.

I need help in Texas. My child with a disability is not safe at school and our rights are being ignored. We have followed every process and sought legal support. The system here in Henrietta ISD is failing to protect him. We do have legal support, but the process is slow because the system moves slow. Things have escalated to the point of physical harm, and we’ve involved the sheriff as well. The problem is that the district delays access to camera footage long enough that videos end up overwritten, which makes getting evidence even harder. We’re doing everything we can, but the system works against families who just want answers.

Just to add more context. What we’re dealing with is not new. This has been a pattern for years. We raised concerns about our autistic son through every proper channel, and even had state-level representatives involved in ARD meetings. Instead of fixing the issues, the system closed ranks and pushed back. And because of that, our other sons have ended up suffering too. A lot of people say “just homeschool” or “just move,” but that isn’t always possible. We are already in the process of relocating for our family’s safety and stability, but you cannot rebuild your entire life overnight. And homeschooling is not a realistic option for every family when both parents work and the needs are more complex. What we’ve experienced isn’t a single incident or a misunderstanding. It is a long-term systemic failure. A culture where concerns get dismissed, where accountability disappears, and where advocating for one child ends up creating collateral damage for the others. We have followed every step we were supposed to follow. We escalated everything through the district, the region, and the state. We have tried to work within the system for years. Nothing changed. That’s why I’m speaking up now. At this point, all we want is basic safety, fairness, and support for our kids. Thank you to those offering help. We appreciate it more than you know. And we hope someone with real authority finally pays attention.

@MarshallKeats @Nascar25Game Also, the truck spun around my nose and hit the wall. So it wasn’t a side swipe, it should have had more aero damage than me. Also catching damage after a caution where you cannot control the car anymore and it hits everything but the lottery… is also an issue

@MarshallKeats @Nascar25Game The amount of people here not understanding this complaint baffles me. It has nothing to do with Sim level damage. I had AI wash up and fence me at Charolette, brought out a caution. I had to fix aero and go to the back of the field while he stayed in 3rd. It’s an issue.

@NASCAR @Nascar25Game It’s a simcade, they catered to controllers, which is the point of console games. But like every major release in the modern era… it’s launched with bugs and needs patches/updates, if you’re willing to stomach some frustration it’s great, otherwise wait a month.
