@Beewise85 @80sBank @Aquariuslonn Meccalicious was a far better emcee as well. I didn’t like this Deda album at all tbh, his rapping wasn’t great. I loved his verse on ‘In The Flesh’ and was expecting it to be better

@80sBank @Aquariuslonn Deda and Mekalicious are 2 of the most underrated and unsung artists to work with Pete Rock for an extended period of time in my opinion.
At least Deda got the chance to record an full album with Pete, while Meccalicious did a few tracks, got a look in The Source, then vanished.

All my day one Pete Rock fans have to remember around '03 or so when InI & Deda Baby Pa joints came out on BBE, right? The InI is definitely an instant classic but I don't hear too many bring the latter. Maaaan, Deda went in over these PR joints

This is one of the greatest visual gags in history. The way Emu quickly glances to the side to check no one's looking before grabbing Hull's neck and chucking him in the freezer. And the somersault at such a tight angle. A visual gag artist at his absolute peak, sensational.
