@MarinasHammer i think it's a pretty good idea the land is pretty barren out there and going to be off grid power seems like a win win win for everyone. closed loop for cooling so not a lot of water usage.

Utah’s future is at stake!! Largest data center IN THE WORLD (62 sq mi) slated for Box Elder County, Utah being quietly rammed through approvals by Cox & cronies and developed by Canadian millionaire Kevin O’Leary. If it were in SLC (it’s not- just used for size reference here) it would span from the airport on the north to 215 freeway on the south 🤯 Show up Monday, May 4 at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds in Tremonton at 4 p.m. to oppose!

@VivekGRamaswamy Like all governors any fraud waste or abuse going on in their states it is in their interest to deny and surpress most evidence of it.

I refuse to tolerate this kind of waste, fraud, & abuse in Medicaid. We’ll prosecute aggressively & put the money back in the pockets of law-abiding Ohioans. The dollar amount will be far greater than most people expect.

@Deseret Makes you wonder who taught them this or where they learned to use this language and to what purpose it serves. One thing is for sure some love to learn about loud noises around the democratically elected president.

Apples and oranges imo. People that die at Disney World didn't die because they fell or got hurt by an attraction - they died from medical episodes or something like that. I'm sure the cited number of people that died at Zion would go up if you included people who had medical episodes or something similar.

@bigdrop @Dawnek16 @DavidOchoaTV 5-12 people died at Disney World in 2025, so 3 at Zions is pretty low. Considering all the people trying to get an Insta photo on some remote ledge I am surprised it is so low. I think rare is a fitting term!

After it was announced that 68-year-old Gilberto Ramos tragically died at Zion National Park last Friday, I decided to look at the numbers to see how many people have died at Utah's "Mighty 5" over the years. And according to data from the National Park Service, it's pretty rare. From 2014-2019 55 people died at Arches (9), Bryce Canyon (2), Canyonlands (11), Capitol Reef (7), and Zion (26). Any death is tragic, but when you compare that number to the amount of visits to each park in that same time frame (57,537,252 to 55), you can see just how rare it is. Some extra mortality data: From 2016-2025, 18 people died at Arches. From 2011-2026, 8 died at Bryce Canyon. From 2008-2025, 29 died at Canyonlands. From 2014-2023, 8 died at Capitol Reef. From 2007-2025, 57 died at Zion.

@Dawnek16 @DavidOchoaTV I still don't like the word rare to describe it. Unlikely might be better but people die at Zion all the time. Rare to me would be the last person to die was like 10 years ago. 5 mil people didn't hike angels landing last year.

Teachers union and gullible media say America must increase education spending. But gov't schools already spend $20,000 per student! Where does all that money go? “It goes to administrative bloat,” says education researcher @DeAngelisCorey. Horrors & good news for kids here:
