If this is true, how do we explain Lawrence Shankland's handball at Ibrox and St Mirren's disallowed goal in October? Can we not just accept that Scottish referees have made howlers throughout the season, even with VAR, distributed fairly evenly across the league?

I don’t think I can ever recall a more universal & collective outpouring of revulsion toward any sporting club than we are now seeing toward Celtic & their fans. Finally, all decent people, from all backgrounds & beliefs, see them for what they are. If only their supporters could actually see how they are viewed by the world at large.

My goodness. So many emotions and details to unpack. My overriding feeling is the SPL title was not lost by Hearts in today’s game. It was lost with that outrageous VAR call for Celtic vs Motherwell. And I still don’t understand why there wasn’t more official pushback at the last fixture being ‘randomly’ Celtic home to Hearts. But ultimately it doesn’t matter now. Gutted for Hearts.

@Masterton9 Ive seen an old man with his grandson walking past the tynecastle arms being punched in the face for nothing other than wearing a celtic scarf. Our manager attacked in the dugout.Personally I can go to the football without needing to abuse or be aggressive towards opposition fans

There are others on here who will back me up on this, going into Celtic Park yesterday was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The venom and hatred, plus the physical attacks on anyone wearing maroon, was absolutely disgusting. And it wasn’t a minority. Scum of the earth.

@footballconfid1 Do the poor decisions only count in the last 2 games,you clearly don't watch the spfl on a regular basis or you would know the handball decision from the motherwell game is more often than not punished by way of a penalty. Every team can point to decisions one team received but

Well done to Celtic for making the most of the opportunity presented to them, but… Make no mistake, this title holds no value whatsoever. Anyone with eyes can see it was robbed from Hearts through incompetent (and potentially corrupt) officiating.
