昨日，硅谷华人工程师ShuangyangYang因为工作压力太大自杀，留下了他的妻子，一位全职妈妈，以及他们13岁的女儿。这位工程师，06年浙大信息工程毕业，此前在LinkedIn领英工作，做了4年资深工程师，直到去年5月被裁员，但是11月又被召回，但被降级，做回了普通工程师。因为失去了稳定的收入来源和医疗保障，其家人还通过gofundme募捐，已经几乎完成15万美元的募捐目标。然后，这里有很多争议，公开消息显示他们刚刚卖掉200万美元的房子，生活水准其实很高。 领英是硅谷内被不少华人工程师唾弃的公司。公司文化毒性高，印度员工抱团，不少华人员工被压榨和赶走。按理说，在硅谷工作了这么多年，早就可以提前退休、财务自由，如今却选择了这么一条路，还是让人十分唏嘘。

新加坡现在出现了一个怪相，华人都在不让华人进新加坡，而印度裔则是欢迎印度人来新加坡。 ​​其实新加坡一开始基本上以华人为主，但是他们基本上不认可自己的华人身份，比如说他们即使会汉语，但是还是会用英语交流。 ​​他们还非常讨厌别人叫他们华人，更讨厌有人叫他们中国人，一旦别人这么叫他们他们会很反感的说自己是新加坡人。 ​​但是现在出现了一个现象，就是来到新加坡的印度人呼朋引伴，让更多的印度人去新加坡，他们到新加坡之后就开始占据当地的工作岗位，尤其是政府的工作，新加坡总统现在都是印度裔。 ​​如果照这个情况发展，在新加坡的印度裔就会越来越多，如果到最后他们举行公投，新加坡可能会并入印度。

I like Korean, Japanese , and Chinese immigrants because when they come to the west they have the decency to change their name to something like “Kevin” or “LeBron James” or something easy to say.
