The UK has oil, gas, and coal in abundance. If the lights go out, it won’t be because we’re short on energy, it will be because he refused to use it. A nation like this shouldn’t be worried about keeping the lights on.

@adamfmk4 My battery is charging and discharging like a rocket atm. 3 cycles per day. All down to how cheap / easy to install your solar… you can take the battery if you move but solar isn’t worth moving

@bigjoncarter Nice! I still wonder if the right balance of battery cycle usage / degradation V cost saving exists? Or it's more a good thing to do and scoop up free solar as a boost?

This evening I've been doing some max output testing with a Vaillant 5kW, at 0C with 45C flow Vaillant claim an output of 6.6kW is possible, however in real world taking into account defrosts it only managed to output 5.3kW, which is 80% of the stated output @plumbers_urban
