@BringBackBanjoK I sorta agree but for the health of the series they should focus on growing smarter not bigger. if smash 6's hook was a mvc1-like assist system with 100 assists, I don’t think most people would mind only 45 fighters. You still one-up ult by going from 89 selectable chars to 145

The future of Smash is characters. The core gameplay can only be refined to some extent. Single player modes are nice but always lack replay value. Smash’s meat and potatoes are its core gameplay and its roster. The only way to one-up ultimate is to do it again and then some.
