I *hoped* we made progress as a country from the days when other kids would yell “go back to where you came from”, and post-911 where at every security check point I’d be flagged for additional checks or asked weird questions about my ethnicity and background.

Horrible news to wake up to. my thoughts and 🙏 are with the families of those impacted in Atlanta. This is a sad moment for our country. There's been a 150% ⬆️ in hate crimes against AAPIs in the past year. I am scared for my fellow AAPIs, my elderly parents, for my community.

It was announced today that the current season of #kimsconvenience will be our last and we will not make a season 6. It’s a bittersweet end to one of the greatest experiences of my life. I’m so proud of what we’ve done and want to reflect and thank those who made it possible. ❤️
