For years, Nitish Kumar’s mother would carry him in her arms to school because he could not walk like other children. Born with a disability, even basic mobility was a challenge for the boy from a small village in Mahendragarh. But what he lacked physically, he made up for with determination.
Despite the hardships, Nitish refused to let his condition define his future. Supported by his parents and driven by a strong desire to succeed, he continued his studies and began preparing for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination, one of the toughest exams in the country.
The journey was long and demanding. Years of preparation, repeated attempts, and countless challenges tested his resolve. Yet Nitish kept pushing forward.
His perseverance finally paid off when he secured All India Rank 847 in the UPSC exam. For a young man who once had to be carried to school by his mother, the achievement was more than just a rank, it was proof that determination can overcome even the toughest barriers.
Today, Nitish Kumar’s journey stands as an inspiration, showing how courage, family support, and persistence can turn the most difficult beginnings into extraordinary success.
