Always thought having an affair with a married woman would be more sexy and exciting than shagging a bored 41 year old who's resigned to not leaving her husband because it'd be too hard to get a mortgage on her own at a Premier Inn in Didcot when her childcare arrangements allow.

Dad died last year. I had the job of clearing his house out as I still live in the same town. Found twelve thousand pounds in cash stashed in various hiding places. Haven't told my siblings.

After mum died, every few weeks I'd email her and tell her what we and her grandkids have been up to. Nearly 4 years later & the last email came back undeliverable as mail box full. Kinda upset, it was my way of not letting go. Love ya mum.

@PeterReavill @jpwarchaeology Jim has just despatched Hands. Pretty gruesome, but his mind was elsewhere. It's a very unsatisfactory book altogether in many ways, but persists as some sort of a rite (shite?) of passage for a boy.

@bilbatch I was actually in a massive hole of discomfort and desperation, having come up & over the Burway on my bike and I had totally underestimated my abilities. I wasn’t until about 5 miles down the road that it actually hit me where I was 😂

At an afternoon fancy dress pub crawl, dressed as Batman. Loads of little kids thought I was the real Batman their parents asked if I would pose for some pictures with them. I happily accepted. It turned into a disaster when I threw up jagermeister all over them. Sorry kids
