It's oddly poignant that a self-described trad is trying to cancel children's book author Eric Carle, since he developed his bold and memorable collage style as a direct reaction to the artistic restrictions he hated as a school kid in Nazi Germany.

@TeslaOnDiet You're right that these people are just racist, and should not be taken seriously, but the compliance/obedience/rote memorization tendency (instead of critical thinking and dissent) is true for mainlanders as well and not just immigrants. Our culture and values incentivize this.

I’m not into black listing anyone from future work in their area of expertise but I do think it’s fair to want a whole new crop of foreign policy staffers in the next democratic administration. It’s not like the same 120 people are the only people who know anything.
