@ImLunaHey @billassault I think a lot of people care if they violate licenses. I'd be mad to publish code under a not open-source license (which is a thing that does happen) and have it stolen to be used by AI. And I do consider piracy to be a bad thing when a giant corporation does it on a huge scale.

If you don't think models built for coding trained by scrubbing existing code, then no discussion here will fix that.

@ImLunaHey That's not the only type of software license in existence. I am being real. You should too. Even if you're all in on LLMs, have to acknowledge how they developed so rapidly.
