If I were starting a home service biz today, the only 3 I would NOT start are: Pressure washing Window cleaning Lawncare Why? Pressure washing & window cleaning: 1. Thanks to a handful of smart Tik Tokkers, you'll be competing against internet savvy 24 year old hustlers that are unafraid to knock doors and know every tip and trick in the book, or at least they think they do. 2. They aren't complacent! I'd rather have 100 complacent competitors than 3 hungry and savvy competitors. 3. They are low ticket services. Why drive 30 minutes to give a $300 quote when so many other services are $3,000 quotes? 4. The supply/demand ratio on platforms like Angi and Thumbtack are skewed against you. 10 bidders for every bid. You'd work too hard for too little money. ----- But why not lawncare? 1. Your competitor is either Jimmy, the resident 17 year old that Karens can't say no to, or Jose, the hard-working hispanic that charges almost nothing. 2. You can outsource the work to a crew, but there's no margin for that, or do it yourself, and have to maintain all kinds of equipment. Try calling a small engine repair place. Booked for weeks. Does this mean people can't be successful with these 3 services? Of course not! There will always be an opportunity to stand out in any industry, especially if you aren't having to reinvent the wheel. But with hundreds of ways to profit in home services, pick the ones with the least amount of brain damage.

I do not care how old you are, I do not care what your preferred genre of music is. With respect, of course. Hot dang, Jackson Browne delivered the goods! Sit back, whether you are at home or driving (safely,) and listen to this talent, back when they did it "by hand." I was a pup when this came out, but I have 3 older brothers, and they taught me to have an ear for good tunes!

Goodnight. Jackson Browne, if you're too young, or maybe just never listened to him. Give him a try. 💤💤

@hillisthekillis @Thebestfigen C’mon now. Boston “More Than A Feeling” and Frampton “Do You Feel Like We Do” dominated 1976. It was everywhere. Single handedly defining a decade.

@Thebestfigen You gotta put Boston “More Than A Feeling” or Frampton “Do You Feel Like We Do” way before Dancing Queen. C’mon bro! Sixers rule! 💪

@jimangiesmokie1 @EddieTrunk @rockhall You’re underestimating Don’t Look Back. It was also a great album but how could anything match the success of the first. That’s an impossible task.

Eddie, here’s my theory and I stand by it One album does NOT make you a HOF inductee. Boston’s first album was great, yes, a classic of the 70’s along with Frampton Comes Alive. But their second album didn’t match the success of the first one and then the band took nearly a decade to release their third. By which time their fans (and the music scene) had moved on to other bands. They basically became an oldies act with each subsequent album and Scholz’ perfectionism

“La Grange” - ZZ Top The song is famously about the Chicken Ranch, a real-life brothel (also known as Miss Edna’s Boarding House) located just outside the small town of La Grange, Texas (in Fayette County). x.com/JVPALT1/status…

@CryptoWendyO @AlexFinn I come from a graphic design background, hence I already have a Mac Studio, but I have no idea where to begin to learn these AI tools or what I can do with them. Does anyone have a recommendation of where to begin?

Something colossal is going to happen in the next 6 months Right now every broccoli hair headed 18 year old is working on OpenClaw for corporate One of them will actually finish their project and make a billion dollars When that happens, OpenClaw will make it to the workplace, and executives will quickly realize it can replace almost every low and mid level employee in the company Anyone who has ever used OpenClaw knows this to be true. They know it's better than them at almost everything I think this is when the job losses truly start to happen Humans at desks will be replaced by Mac Minis and Mac Studios at desks It has NEVER been more critical you are up to date on the latest AI tools This is the ONLY way you'll be able to absorb this kind of chaos and still come out in one piece If you are an entrepreneur or creator, you have leverage. The jobs don't matter as much I'd master these tools today: • OpenClaw (duh) • ChatGPT Codex 5.3 (best coding model right now) • CapCut (so you can quickly pump out content and videos) • Local models (so you can have agents working 24/7 for you) The future is entrepreneurship. When there are no jobs, we will all be independent value creators Start preparing

Just hung up with a guy making $50k/month in junk removal. How does he find customers? He went to Dollar General and bought mints + glass candy dishes. He drops them off with business cards at the front desk of every real estate office in his county. His phone keeps ringing.

An Austrian Tongue Choir from the Alps region of Tyrol sings ‘Moscow Nights’ with their tongue in a 1982 performance. If not for the Internet, we’d never know music videos like this existed.
