Miami Police shoot, wound man across from Ultra Music Festival… The incident occurred Saturday morning around 7AM outside the YVE Hotel on Biscayne Blvd. & NE 2nd St. after officers responded to a report of a man in his 20s acting erratically. Officers attempted to de-escalate the situation, used a Taser and pepper spray, which were apparently not effective — and an officer fired at the man. Miami Police Chief Manny Morales said he "appeared to have non-life-threatening injuries," and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment along with one officer injured during the incident.

@volvoshine City hall will be rail-accessible at that point. Interestingly I feel like Miami has to (and if so, will continue to) be the only major city in the country where the city hall is in a neighborhood well outside the CBD?
