@b1ack0wl @HackingThings I suspect it's more that "Core" (FreeBSD based) is semi-legacy/borderline abandonware at this point in favor of "Scale" (Debian based).
English

@HackingThings Could be that nothing hits that vuln and thus they didnt bother to update.

@AlizTheHax0r @gyptazy All you need is FUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ =P which is about the same sound that bees make.
English

@gyptazy @binpwn Thanks for pointing out shortcomings, that’s useful! I don’t need either of those things yet tho, and I don’t think I will. Honestly I like the idea of a thin bsd base I can PXE into rather than a large configured xen install.I don’t have much bsd exp but I guess now is the time!
English

@AlizTheHax0r I ran Xen for a while, but bhyve is just way smoother for me. I also ran proxmox, didnt like this.
bhyve for full VMs, and the same box runs Jails for smaller things.
English

@binpwn I started moving to Xen but now you mention it perhaps bhyve is a better way forward. Hmmm
