@being_on_line they’re amazing but only once you have a password manager like 1password that handles them well

man i can't believe how fast we can go from idea to working code now. had an idea for how to improve @solid_js hmr, which currently resets state way too often. 30 min coding session with opus 4.6 later and we have a working plugin the future is here

TanStack Start is really good, so happy that React finally has a good meta framework It feels like everything I love about SvelteKit brought over to React: - server functions - loaders - isomorphic rendering: stuff can run on both client & server to get best of both worlds. I know that sounds like a foot gun/complex, trust me it's not look through their execution model docs - none of the nextjs bloat Put together a side by side comparison of SvelteKit & TanStack Start doing the same thing: github.com/bmdavis419/tan… If I had to use React on the web, this is the only way I would ever do it

@saltyAom Mostly no need for an extra backend when using full stack frameworks like tanstack start

If you have never tried Elysia, why? > Performance comparable to Go > Excellent Developer Experience > Bring your favorite validators > Complete Type Soundness > Frontend RPC client like tRPC > Meta Programming with type safety > Auto-generate OpenAPI documentation

Found a random 10 (!) second sleep delay claude added weeks ago into my codebase that I overlooked, that only was active on some routes, sometimes to the Twitter API and only in production. “to prevent rate limiting” I did sooo much perf optimization on all parts but missed this cause I it was really well hidden. Now shit’s super fast ☠️🙃
