Keith the Apocalypse Bringer is a three-year-old Anglo-Nubian goat in a field in Devon. Keith should not be underestimated. Keith has been systematically dismantling the ecosystem since approximately 7am, when he ate a bramble. This is significant because bramble is an invasive scrub species that outcompetes wildflowers, reduces biodiversity, and creates dense monoculture thicket that nothing else can use. Keith ate it. Keith does this every day. Keith does not charge for this service. 8:15am - Keith ate a thistle. Thistles are also considered invasive scrub in managed pasture. Goldfinches eat thistle seeds, but Keith's grazing will ensure the pasture remains open enough for the ground-nesting birds that can't use dense scrub. Keith has not attended a conservation workshop. Keith arrived at this conclusion by being a goat. 9:00am - Keith dismantled a section of hedge. This was less helpful. Keith does not have a perfect record. 10:30am - Keith escaped the field. He was in the road for eleven minutes. He ate a neighbour's rose. This is not being counted in Keith's environmental impact assessment. 11:00am - Keith was returned to the field. Keith regarded the farmer with the specific expression of an animal that does not recognise the concept of property. 12:00pm - Keith ate more bramble. His digestive system: four stomachs, a rumen full of specialised microorganisms, the ability to extract nutrition from lignified plant matter that would defeat any other animal on this field, is converting scrub vegetation into milk with a fat content of approximately 4.5%. The milk will become cheese. The cheese will be sold at the farm shop. The farm shop is four miles away. The cheese food miles are: four. 3:00pm - Keith produced manure. The manure will grow the grass. The grass will grow the bramble. The bramble will be eaten by Keith. This system has no inputs. It has been running since goats were domesticated approximately ten thousand years ago. Keith is not aware he is saving the planet. Keith is thinking about whether the fence on the north side has a weak point. It does. Keith found it at 4:45pm. Keith got out again.

Can you believe this? Last year, the Liberal government spent $19 BILLION on consultants. $8 MILLION for gender-just, low-carbon rice in Vietnam $22 MILLION for Beans for Women’s Empowerment in Congo $33 MILLION on a prison farm Now, that same government claims it has no choice but to shut down agricultural research facilities and lay off Canadian scientists and researchers. Billions for consultants. Cuts for Canadian agriculture. Make it make sense.

The Bitcoin History book auction, which ends in 6 hours and benefits independent bitcoin education, is incredibly important Why? Education is always captured by whoever funds it, this is a big part of why education as a whole is broken and teaches us what to think, rather than how to think (and why financial literacy is so low around the world) At @MyFirstBitcoin_ we are creating a proof-of-concept for a new way forward by rejecting all government and corporate money. We are funded by the community which currently manifests itself mostly via grants and individual donations but we need to continue to expand that and auctions such as this are showing us the way We need more auctions that benefit independent bitcoin education. We need more initiatives that shave off a percent of profit and funnel it into something the community both controls and benefits from (such as a bitcoin ETF to @OpenSats) Introductory bitcoin education needs to create different funding models to create the right incentives. It's still early enough that we can entrench new norms--otherwise we risk falling into the same trap that fiat education has and thus blunting some of the revolutionary potential of bitcoin There's 6 hours left on this auction. Let's blow this up. Tell your friends, place a bid, share this Let's fucking go!

@rorshockbtc I was veg or vegan or pescatarian from when I was 17 - 24. I didn't eat a lot of soy (no more than I do currently), but I was completely malnourished and consumed wayyyy too many seed oils. I definitely feel better than ever now, but there's always room to improve.

@bitcoinbabey Interesting. Anecdotally, I feel like I am mentally/behaviorally way more masculine these days than I was just a few years ago when I was vegetarian. I was vegetarian for about 20 years and I never believed that soy/etc elevated estrogen, but man, I believe it now.

Have you ever wondered why millions of Canadians suddenly believe the exact same things and all at the exact same time? You turn on the TV. That familiar theme music starts. Your shoulders drop. Your guard comes down. And before the anchor even speaks - you’re already being programmed. This isn’t conspiracy theory. This is science they never taught you. Every major Canadian network - CBC, CTV, Global, Citytv - opens their newscasts with almost identical background tones. I ran the audio through a custom created spectrum analyzer and here’s what I found in the first 3 minutes (the part that plays before you can change the channel) - A carrier tone locked at 101.9 Hz (felt in your chest, linked in sound-healing circles to “heart coherence” and emotional trust) A slow binaural sweep from 1 Hz → 4.25 Hz (deep delta → low theta) That exact range is the same one used in: Yoga Nidra “non-sleep deep rest” protocols Lucid-dream induction tracks Clinical trauma-release therapy (TRE, somatic experiencing) Translation: the music alone is pulling your brain into a half-asleep, hyper-suggestible state where critical thinking shuts off and emotional compliance switches on. This is modern Pavlov’s bell, but instead of salivating dogs, we now have obedient voters. They studied this for decades - sentence structure with deliberate pauses Repetition of trigger phrases (“safe and effective,” “experts say,” “the science is settled”). Rising intonation that mimics a parent calming a frightened child; All layered on top of those delta/theta beats. You feel calm. You feel safe. You feel like the people on screen care about you. That feeling isn’t love. That’s engineered trance and the craziest part is that it works best on people who think they’re too smart to be influenced. The higher your IQ, the more you trust the source (“It’s the CBC, they wouldn’t lie”). The lower the IQ, the more the raw emotional entrainment works. Together...they create one giant, synchronized hive mind. This isn’t left vs right. This is top vs bottom. They don’t need guards or guns when they control the frequency your brain runs at every night at 6 p.m. Wake up before the next chime. Or not...you know...whatever, man.

The ICIJ has published a series of articles on Bitcoin's use in money laundering, and it mainly operates from the premise that any transaction that is operated without KYC/AML is suspicious of a crime. These are dangerous generalizations that leave absolutely zero room for the fact that the every person has a right to and legitimate use for privacy, and that the assumption of said right should not put a target on my back if we value to live in a democracy. Throughout the series, the journalists assume that KYC/AML does in fact stop criminals from making transactions in the financial system, while the only instances of criminals transferring funds were found on centralized exchanges like Binance, which have KYC/AML in place. Are "crypto-to-cash services" useful for money laundering? Sure. But they are also useful to people who cannot afford a bank account, activists who live under oppressive regimes, or women who experience domestic violence. Yet the New York Times, which was involved in the investigation, titles that it identified $28 Billion in illicit funds, painting it as a systemic "dirty money" problem – A number presented without context. When it is put into context, it quickly becomes clear that what these publications have identified here is not so much a systemic problem than a absolute niche in the industry, which did over $18 Trillion in volume in 2024 alone – meaning that the publications identified a mere 0.15% of global cryptocurrency funds to be illicit. If anything, this investigation proves that Bitcoin has a much lesser money laundering problem than any other financial industry in history. Robbers, scammers and human traffickers should be held accountable for their crimes. Demonizing an entire sector on baseless claims is not going to make that happen. It sure is interesting though that this misleading framing is published right as Congress is debating how to regulate non-custodial services.

If you want to win, then surround yourself with A-Players. B or C Players will doom any organization to mediocrity, at best. Steve Jobs understood this. So does Elon. Winners win by design. They must actually first intend to win.
