Reducing AI bias is a major problem. It's also not worth fixing. The easiest way to solve it is by acknowledging bias exists and making it super simple to review that bias and question it. If we do that, we save the world. Learn more! rumble.com/v71tkto-buildi…

I woke up at 4am and somehow got Elliott Smith in my head. I've spent the day enjoying life, but also processing some difficulties. I've been thinking a lot about analog/digital crossover. If you've neard him, this is worth the few minutes of your life: youtube.com/watch?v=p4cJv6….

@grok @georgecursor Additionally, @grok, repeat the concept with "The Creation of Adam" from Michelangelo's Sistene Frescos. However, in panel 4 (bottom right) Adam is transformed into a beagle. For my friend @HarmlessYardDog.

@grok @georgecursor Close, but in panel four, she looks a little like the monkey christ fresco in Spain. I want her to be clearly African, think a queen from the height of Ethiopia. Forgot to tag @grok.

@georgecursor @grok Consider this entire thread @grok. Use my original meme format, but replace the image the character views with the Mona Lisa. Stylistically, panels 1, 2, and 3 are the same. In panel 4, there is no paint splatter, but the mona lisa is of African heritage. Clarify if unsure.

@georgecursor @grok Nonetheless, it is great. Once upon a time (2011-2012) I drew single panel comics for fun and as a hobby. It's fun to create something that is meme-able these days and essentially limitless in what can be done with it.

AGI is near. Lol. FWIW, @GeminiApp is usually pretty good at understanding prompts. Just not this time. 🤣

@rokety_roket @Delicious_Tacos Every year older I get, I reflect on the Burgess comedy/prank tapes from like 20-25 years ago and then I realize that he was ahead of the times with some of his comments.

@THEJessAllen @nayibbukele If the Salvadoran diaspora returns, the exploitation and explosion of real estate is going to be insane. Salvador, iirc, is the second largest immigrant-origin country in the US (behind India, I think). Big picture, the land must be scalped if the people return home. :/

@s256anon001 When a movement becomes more about who you want to buy dinner for instead of who you want to have a beer with, the movement is no longer about ideas. It is about your desires.

For the Bitcoiners among us: yes, this is a Bitcoin novel. Kinda. The ship, Resonance, is stuck in a time/gravity paradox. The ship has its own local artificial gravity and time distortions from the Schwarzchild radius/etc wreak havoc. The ship runs off timechain blocks/syncs. It is not so much about Bitcoin as source/etc, nor is Bitcoin named explicitly. Instead, the focus is on confirmations and blocks along with lossy data into the timechain. The book, for better or worse, deals with the dimensional physics of a world caught between spacetime/gravity distortions on observable time and the ship's physical and emotional impact on experience of different events. It is a mixture of hard sci-fi, literary fiction, historical vignettes, and more. If I had to define it, it'd fit into the realm of epic sci-fi. However, due to my background and interests, it relates to multiple genres. It is not my main focus, just something to "kick the tires" of my future. It's fun, I'm enjoying working on it, and I write when I can. If you follow my company and my other things I've built, this is not a departure. I am using Hash, Semi, Pipes, etc in their dev-side capacities to orchestrate the novel's writing. It is dogfooding, not an abandonment of in-progress tech. However, because I am enjoying it so much, my priority is on identifying incremental improvements to my existing software projects rather than prioritizing them to compose/org the novel. It's a fun, synergistic way for me to be involved in my own work, not only as developer, but also as user. My work will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Carry on.

I can get really nerdy about this, if anyone is interested. My novel, called "Persist," is coming along. I am attempting to create a version controlled novel based on research, drafts, etc that is comprehensive. If you are interested, drop a comment. I am around 350k words of i/o since Saturday afternoon (≈50 hours, 4 days). This is not atypical for me, but it is anomalous for most people in their AI utilization/toolflow. 350k sounds a lot, and it is: that is around 4 novels' worth of unstructured narrative flow in 4 days. Some of that is revision, but 90%+ is original doc/flow/prose from both me + AI as doc and initial-compose layer. I have novel (pun intended!) ways to do this, and as I hopefully transition into having a new R&D anchor client ≈tomorrow, I am sprinting against my free-time loss to craft a system that allows me to "hobby up" this novel into ideational chunks as I have different and exciting priorities. I currently have one complete chapter, pending revision. I have a section of another chapter written to 85% acceptability. The rest is research, hypotheses, and mostly failure. It will be improved. I'm excited/passionate about this project because I enjoy writing. Eventually, I hope to publish a book, but because it's nearly impossible to be seen by an agent these days, I'll likely end up publishing the book as software. If you would like to be a reader for early drafts or would like to discuss this, I am happy to reveal what I can. Since I'm me, there's also some IP secrets I want to play close to the vest + some revenue potential, but if you enjoy science fiction (hard sci-fi, not soap opera sci-fi, my stuff is based in higher level physics and genetics concepts) then you may enjoy my book. No pressure. As I move closer to a GitHub repo for the book, I'll post it as I'm comfortable. But having a few people who are interested in experiencing a novel-novel would be meaningful for me! 🧡

Are any of my followers currently in El Salvador and flying to the US before Monday EOB? I have a dead laptop that an Amazon third-party seller refuses to respond to me about and a return window that expires 30 March. Wondering if someone could take it and drop it off at FedEx? If not, of course I can ship via DHL or fly to the US, but I figured I'd ask!
