Imagine the only way you can be successful is attacking other companies and making up random shit, but then immediately pretending to be the good guys and the victim every time you get called out yourself. SaaS is dead. It's over. I just cancelled my $10/mo Calendly subscription and vibe coded my own. 5% scheduling accuracy and it only costs me $150/mo for 5 background workers.

cashu has very few real use cases. influencer hype.

@nathan_day if they are being batch redeemed at some point in the future, what's to stop me from creating tokens that can't be redeemed. if the api only accepts tokens from the api service's mint, why not use fiat credits?

@nathan_day what's the point? the token has to be redeemed for bitcoin or it's just a trust exercise. if the tokens are being redeemed on receipt there's no benefit at all.

everyone's talking about their teams like they were at the peak of efficiency and bottlenecked by ability to produce code here's what things actually look like - your org rarely has good ideas. ideas being expensive to implement was actually helping - majority of workers have no reason to be super motivated, they want to do their 9-5 and get back to their life - they're not using AI to be 10x more effective they're using it to churn out their tasks with less energy spend - the 2 people on your team that actually tried are now flattened by the slop code everyone is producing, they will quit soon - even when you produce work faster you're still bottlenecked by bureaucracy and the dozen other realities of shipping something real - your CFO is like what do you mean each engineer now costs $2000 extra per month in LLM bills

Congratulations you finally did it. You bullied one of Bitcoin Core's most prolific and consistently excellent maintainers until she gave up. A mob of loud, line-by-line-illiterate crusaders who couldn't maintain a README between them managed to exhaust someone who _actually did the proof of work_ This doesn't make Bitcoin safer. It makes it poorer, thinner, and less secure because you just taught the people who carry the protocol that sustained harassment is the price of competence. That lesson will not be forgotten, and it will not age well.
