Ben Horowitz: Computing has always needed two pillars, machines and networks. AI has the machines but not the network. Crypto is the missing layer, giving AI money, identity, provenance against deepfakes. Source: @bhorowitz at @Columbia_Biz

@xmgnr The people that don’t care about privacy as you say are not the ones that move markets. The ones that move markets do care very much about it.

all this talk about privacy is intellectually dishonest ppl think privacy is now important bc of ZEC pump but look at revealed preference: how many ppl actually go out of there way to maintain financial privacy in their everyday life? literally nobody cares if mert gave a fuck about privacy he wouldnt be talking about buying zcash all the fucking time and posting on twitter 24/7

@bowtiedmeathead Bodybuilding is overrated anyways. Way cooler to be yolked and strong. Hypertrophy isn’t everything, look at any pro athlete. team sports even strength sport etc, and none of them look like bodybuilders (for a reason)

Went to a gym today about an hour away that is basically a paradise for bodybuilders We’re working out a partnership with them involving the clinics to help educate their members about TRT and peptides Most of their members are general population so it seems like a great fit The hardcore muscle heads mostly all do their own thing and not interested much in running low dosages year around As I was touring the gym a good number of competitive bodybuilders were in the middle of their training and I hate to admit it but felt small as hell walking around While I’m a fairly fit guy with decent dimensions it’s clear I’ll never be as jacked as competitive bodybuilders nor do I ever want to be Just happy lifting weights, being fit and athletic looking and basically training like a bodybuilder but never looking like one I completely respect their hard work and commitment to the sport but not willing to take that next level of sacrifice Doing it very causally is much more fun to me

Yeah, just like all the sites of of the early internet. Building out global civilizationally entrenched things isn’t a straight line of development. People need to build a first wave of things, the experimental phase, before the ecosystem matures and paves the way for the future. We will see many things die out from the experimental phase of crypto. What comes after will evolve like social media did and become the backbone of the digital world. Lessons need to be learned, people need to gain experience, etc.

Genuine question for the timeline: Realistically speaking, is there a world in where memecoins just fully die? No more runners. No more liquidity. Metas done. 99% of coins die just like NFTs.

@0xNairolf Close but that’s only the halfway point. Think bigger. Think skynet. Crypto is in its experimental phase, all will come together as the backbone of the decentralized autonomous superintelligence. Always on, always observing, always improving.

the endgame for crypto is really an all in one app - payments - self custody - trading - yield - launchpad - social layer everything consolidated in one place, then you distribute as fuck

@MichaelAArouet Bitcoin is a store of value for the on chain economy, not the “physical economy”. Gold fills that role for now but gold isn’t a store of value for the on chain economy. You can’t run the Bitcoin network on gold.

Just to put things in perspective, gold went up during the market sell-off yesterday. Bitcoin has its benefits, but can we please stop calling it a store of value or digital gold? So far it has been more a leveraged bet on Nasdaq 100.

@Dearme2_ Just do it. Don’t think, just charge. Don’t underestimate the saying “you only regret the things you didn’t do” because it’s easy to not take that ultra seriously, you absolutely should take it to heart before the meaning takes hold from experience.

If someone tells you they make money with technical analysis, ask them if their strategy is: • Statistically significant? • Consistently making money? • Robust to parameter changes? Be careful with technical analysis.

Idc if you love or hate Tesla, but to say the market is wrong just because you don’t like someone is brain rot. Trading price is not a valuation metric.

It continues to AMAZE me that the $TSLA stock promotion for SUCKERS has a $1.2T market cap. In fact, it amazes me that it's over $15B. When this bubble-fraud collapses (and it will- they ALL do) I'll have ZERO sympathy for its holders, who for YEARS mocked those who warned them.

Imagine the exotic stimulants they just give you if you’re a B2 pilot. If you know anything about the Air Force you just know they have a multibillion dollar special access program that’s 50 years old instituted for this exact purpose.
