Study how $BABYDOGE went to $1b mcap
$BaoBao is the younger brother of one of the biggest memecoins in history
Best part is he’s launched on the memecoins native launchpad @bonkfun

THE MASTER PLAN 🧵
My goal for the past year and a half since discovering Ordinals has been to help bootstrap a Web3 ecosystem on top of Bitcoin that will accelerate Bitcoin mass adoption.
If you've come across my account more recently it might seem like all I do is share all-caps $DOG bull posts but there is a much more calculated plan.
In February of 2023, the notion that you could do NFTs, DeFi, or memecoins on Bitcoin was laughed at. Nobody took us seriously. Everyone faded us.
At the time the laser eye maximalists relentlessly harassed any developers who tried to experiment and build on Bitcoin for any use case other than BTC payments. Essentially zero people were building Web3 on Bitcoin layer one. At the time the wallet that was recommended to me was called Sparrow and I can say that without a doubt it had the most horrendous UX of any product I have ever used in my life. It became very clear to me that the laser eye maximalists would not be the ones bringing Bitcoin mass adoption.
So the TLDR is that it was obvious that Bitcoin needed to change if it wanted to remain the most relevant crypto-economic network longterm and onboard billions of people. 2021 proved that the laser eye maximalists were wrong to believe that all use cases other than currency on a blockchain were a scam. DeFi is real. PFP communities are real. The memecoin casino is real. These are all successful use cases that drive the adoption of crypto-economic networks that Bitcoin needs to embrace.
Bitcoin needed these use cases as much as these use cases needed Bitcoin. Web3's arrival on Bitcoin would be the single greatest moment in Bitcoin's history since the genesis block but nobody seemed to care.
So many of us got to work building a new ecosystem and community on Bitcoin from scratch that would take a radically different approach that the laser eye maximalist.
I choose to focus my time on four specific initiatives where I believe that I can help make the largest difference. They are outlined below.
Culture: I started an X space with @TO and @janbtc called @TheOrdinalShow. The goal of this show is to hit the reset button on Bitcoin's culture. Specifically Bitcoin's development culture. Rather than being harassed, we wanted to create a space where tinkerers and experimenters would be celebrated. You can't have innovation if people don't feel comfortable experimenting. We have since hosted hundreds of interviews with builders in the Bitcoin ecosystem and have been going strong twice a week for 16 months now.
Education: I write long threads on X that try to break down all of the complexity in the Bitcoin/Ordinals/Runes ecosystems in such a way that it can be consumed by non-technical casual market participants. This is important because people will never join an ecosystem that they do not understand.
Onboarding: I helped spearhead the Runestone and $DOG initiatives as trojan horses to onboard millions of people to Bitcoin. For whatever reason "number go up" is the #1 thing that gets people to pay attention and join an ecosystem. If we succeed in making Runestone the #1 NFT collection in the world and $DOG the #1 memecoin in the world it will make a statement so loud that everyone will have to listen to us. And that statement is that Bitcoin is king and that we have learned from the mistakes of other chains and are doing Web3 more transparently and fairly on Bitcoin.
Infrastructure: I cofounded @ord_io with my friend @zachmeyer. Our initial goal with Ord.io was to create an Ordinals explorer with a great UX that was also fun. Since then we've shipped social features like inscription upvoting and replies as well as widely recognized standards like Satributes. We also now support Runes exploring and Runes minting and are cooking some more really fun stuff that I'm excited to share soon. We are growing fast and our team is now up to seven people. We are all engineers who are on a mission to build the Bitcoin super app that makes doing Web3 on Bitcoin as fun and intuitive as possible.
All of this still begs the question, why? Why do all of this? What's the point?
The reason is simple:
Freedom
Bitcoin is a freedom technology that represents a future where you, me, and all eight billion people on Earth have a little bit more control over their lives. 16 years ago Satoshi gave us a beautiful gift and it is our job as a civilization to be stewards of it.
I am just one person. I will not be able to accomplish very much alone. But if you join me on this crusade anything becomes possible.

The testnet chains have completely lost their way
The latest instance is the $EIGEN drop that was blatantly rigged for the benefit of insiders
- Massive team/VC allocation (55%)
- Community stakers get almost nothing (5%)
- Non-transferable tokens so you can't even sell the airdrop
- People who staking for months will pay more in fees to claim than the tokens are worth
-VPN restrictions only put in place after you staked for months
If you're tired of clinging to the points drip feed of these massive corporations and actually want to embrace bottom-up decentralized self sovereign ownership over a digital asset the way Satoshi envisioned then come join the Free and Fair movement happening over here with Runes on Bitcoin
Last week the Ordinals community came together to organize a massive half billion dollar airdrop to itself run 100% by volunteers
There was no team allocation
The was no presale
There was no treating people like monkeys to collect points for an airdrop
There was no favoritism to whales in the airdrop algo
There were no gifts to influencers
There were no VCs backing us
There were no hired market makers
There will be no listing fees paid to CEXs
There will be no celebrity endorsements
There will be no paid promotion or marketing
We just organized amongst ourselves and if something needed to happen then people stepped up
If donations were needed to cover the 10 BTC of network fees to do the 100K+ address airdrop people donated
If devs were needed to execute the airdrop devs volunteered
And together we created the #1 memecoin on Bitcoin called $DOG
It is time to take a radically different approach
We refuse to repeat the 2021 utility token nonsense all over again
It is time for a memecoin supercycle like you have never seen and $DOG will lead the way by attempting to create the #1 memecoin in the world in the opposite way of how a token like $EIGEN was created
In doing so we will make a statement so loud that the entire space will be forced to listen
Come join us
