imagine spending a decade learning animation just to see THIS drop on the timeline. traditional animators used to spend years honing their craft to get motion like this. now some guy in his bedroom generates it under a minute. the helplessness real artists must be feeling right now is actually crazy. why even learn traditional keyframing anymore when the barrier to entry is completely GONE. this is the exact moment the animation industry changed forever.

We really went from “creating” to “vibing things into existence.”

This is how I imagine it working, but without the manual alignment and fiddling. So you can distribute the time freely and have a good sense of the "time budget" or estimated hours that's left on a specific task.

Hello productivity people. I need a super simple visual way of delegating my time. Does something like this exist?

@VigorLeLumineux Yeah, tick tick doesn't really do this very well either. I'd like to visually see the hours I've estimated for a task, then delegate it across weeks. Like the envelope budgeting method, but for time.

@bjornerix I tried to find one a few days ago, looked for half a day and didn't find anything easy and free. I finally made my own in a Miro. But if you are willing to pay I saw that the "Tick Tick" App has a calendar view behind a paywall but I didn't try it

A messy freeform canvas where I can just block out how much time I think each task will take, colour coded by project/task. Then a calendar where I can magnetically slot the time blocks into place, taking into consideration lunch and working hours. Never seen something like this.

Pleased to have picked up an FWA for our work with the @thelinestudio — a lovely recognition for an awesome project. Development by the indomitable @thomAufresne. See it live — thelinestudio.com Our next project will be live soon (ish!).

I've built thousands of footers at this point, but @thelinestudio's is my fav – and it's got a twist! The Line is big on crediting, and when we saw the moodboard, @BavidDyrne came up with a cool nod to the traditional animation process ✨

@bjornerix Dude that is such a cool touch. I also REALLY love the small safe zone sheet under the work when you’re scrolling. Those little touches really make this site so special.

I look at footers every day which involves scrolling through entire sites to get to them and I cannot stop thinking about this site. This is my favorite site I've seen this year. thelinestudio.com

@robably__ @stevelauda_ This specific animation didn't take much time tbf, as its not technically difficult to pull off - establishing the overall concept took a bit of time during the design phase (@bjornerix The Line found + Isaac @BavidDyrne)
