Freshman WR Jayden Petit, listed on the #Sooners’ roster at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, looks even larger in pads and cleats.
He’s built like a tight end and moves like a wideout. Quite an exciting set of traits that he brings to Emmett Jones’ room.

Why are people acting like this was some kind of impressive play? Objectively, almost any D-1 running back makes this run. No hate on Ott at all, but if people are second-guessing him not playing, this clip really should not be the reason.

@bkel1113 @TravisSkol @On3 @Clowfb Complaining he doesn’t have the most makes when he has the 3rd highest make percentage on the entire list. As you’ve so graciously pointed out our offense was terrible so he had limited opportunities. He made 24 of his 27 attempts with 2 of them being in 20+ mph winds. ELITE.

More to my point he missed on the biggest stage and will continue to do so. Hoping for an improved offensive so we don’t have to find out. Elite regular season I’ve agreed.

An elite kicker also makes 4 50 yard field goals in a game. An elite kicker does not get judged for missing 2 kicks 20+ mph winds
