Two years after @POTUS signed the American Rescue Plan Act into law, our county is in the midst of one of the strongest periods of economic growth in a century.

I met with a group from Dubuque today talking about continuing the Historic Tax Credit. We had discussions about the positive impacts that the tax credit has on communities and the State.

SF478 lets government agencies hide documents from auditors. They could simply choose to bury waste, fraud, and abuse from public view. That’s why I call it the biggest pro-corruption bill in Iowa history.

I spoke today about the Governors reorganization of state government. I spoke about the harm the changes will make to the department of the blind. My father was blind and we dealt with challenges of his loss of eyesight. We need to support our blind people of Iowa.

It’s an honor to be at @USDA delivering on the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act. We have done a lot in the last two years, but we have more to do. As @POTUS says: let’s finish the job.
