For real though, this is a borderline unprecedented turnaround so far…and it’s still so early. As someone who had basically given up on him, I don’t think people actually need to apologize. It was awful for so long.
But obviously couldn’t be more thrilled for him.

@thomasgauvain Yea I just think it’s a tough year for the bullpen. Not once have I felt comfortable about Stanek. I really like O’Brien, Romero, and even Soriano. If they can figure out the bullpen, I think they’ll be much better than everyone expects. At least through the first half.

Riley O'Brien, JoJo Romero, and Ryne Stanek are the only guys who have given me confidence this year, and Stanek has been shaky a couple of times. Gordon Graceffo could be a guy, but our middle inning relievers could use some improvement #STL

@b_miklasz I know that we’re 9 games into the season, but let’s just assume that Blaze Jordan continues on his tear, and the MLB roster stays consistent with where they’ve been. Where does he slot into this lineup?

Dustin May currently has a worse ERA than Miles Mikolas. If that’s the case in a month, end the experiment.

@KareemSSN Agreed. Doesn’t seem like luck or that he’s running into hits. Seems like he’s executing. Would be the first to happily admit I was wrong if he’s actually figured it out.

It’s only been a few games, but I’ve been more encouraged by this stretch than at any point last year. Walker is taking quality at-bats and lifting his hard-hit BBE. I hope he’s able to put it all together this season.

JUST IN: Brentwood Police say 'Reacher' star Alan Ritchson acted in self-defense, say no charges will be filed. The development comes as new footage appears to show Ritchson's neighbor blocking the road while he was on his motorcycle. "After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued," said the Brentwood Police Department. "Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense." "Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges." The case has been closed.
