Always baffled when people use this line - it was maybe the most predictable agenda in political history, laid out by the candidate and think tanks during campaign. If you listened to two Trump speeches you were caught up.

He doesn't do the most highlight/tiktok-friendly impressively athletic moves. It isn't about explosiveness and strength. It's not fast and easily digested. He's not a boulderer or speed climber; he's a big-wall climber. It's slow. It's meticulous. It's dramatic. A lesson for all.

What I love about Alex Honnold is that he proved that the elements of climbing that could draw people in are the exact opposite of what boardroom conventional wisdom would have recommended. He's not a speed climber. He doesn't win sport climbing or bouldering comps.

No. This map of retail electricity prices reflects generational trends. Of course, state + fed policies have price impacts. But stating that state clean energy policies are "why Blue States have the highest electricity prices" is wrong. Some history in this short thread --
