Never in my life will I understand the concept of changing your team. But I guess Americans are never real fans of any sports team, they are fans of their city and that‘s fair. Just a completely different mentality.

Thank you @UFLStallions fans. 18,000 strong!!!!! Eight months ago, when I became co-owner of this league, I didn’t know if we’d see this kind of loyalty, passion, and commitment for the opener. You showed up. You delivered. I know the game result wasn’t what you wanted. I get it. But let’s be real… a year ago there was zero attendance momentum. Today??? Different story. I had a great time with all the fans including the shirtless section, the Stallion horsemen, and had a great on-field meeting with @randallwoodfin. Incredible energy all around!!!! I know the GMs on X are coming at me……… “Sell the league!!!” “Fire AJ!!!” “You suck Mike” “Bring back Skip!!!” “Go back to 2,000 fans!!!” “You ruined our team” Sorry……Not happening. This is a NEW league. This is what long term growth looks like. Today wasn’t just a crowd. It was a statement. A growing fan base adding to an already strong Birmingham foundation. The scoreboard didn’t go our way but the turnout??? That’s how you build something real. That’s how @TheUFL win long term. Birmingham… you stepped up. I thank you and appreciate you. ❤️ LFG!!!!! 🏈💪

@blazerbeak Only apparent difference is STL was 2-0 last year vs 1-1 this year. The market isn't that fair weather, though, so IDK.
Cardinals also had a 7k drop this year from last year. Not sure why STL was more keen to stay home yesterday than last year.

Is this alarming to STL fans? Genuinely curious. I know it's still A LOT better than any other team in the league, but is ~7k lower than the 2nd lowest attended game concerning, at all? If so/not, why (not)?

@UFLShadow I do think that has something to do with it. I don’t know if THAT much of a drop is due to team performance or not but there isn’t a whole lot of excitement for Silvers and the offense after last week. Whereas things were bumming (until that week 3 game) last year.

Battlehawks’ offense scheme makes really no sense.
They ultimately need to use WR Hakeem Butler more, instead of trying to be a smash mouth running team.

i’ll probably piss off a ton of fans saying this, but last week’s game was messy, this week was even worse….. if i’m being honest, we are 0-2 right now. we are not playing winning football by any means. i’m genuinely worried for the rest of the season. we need to step it up.
