@David_J_Bier Immigrants apply for immigrant visas and then apply for entrance on said visa. If admitted they adjust status to that of a lawful permanent resident. If they do not commit crimes and remain crime free they are eligible for citizenship. Illegal aliens are not immigrants.

If anything they’ll have to be instructed on the limited pat down at TSA checkpoints. Seizures or divestiture as characterized here, is also not new. CBP can also be used.

"During testimony before the US Senate, I called it the largest fraud in the history of the US immigration system.
